One to Watch: Juliana Manara

“I am inspired by surrealism, and photography allows me to play with my imagination,” says London-based Juliana Manara, whose works explores ideas about human existence with a touch of humour.

She has an MFA from Speos International Photographic Institute in Paris. In 2013 she was a finalist at the International Fine Art Photography Competition, she won the Prix de la Jeune Creation in Photography in 2010, and she was a finalist in the 2012 London International Creative Awards. She has exhibited her work in the UK, Germany, France, Brazil, and her work is in numerous private and corporate collections, including the Bibliotheque Nationale de France, Paris, and British Airways.
